Assistant On-Site Manager

A GEH assistant on-site manager is your right hand, ensuring anything you need done gets executed. You’ll also be freed up from managing staff — we will handle staff checkin/checkout, breaks, and optimize distribution at the site so you can concentrate on other things.

Information Booth Host/Hostess

This knowledgable person disseminates information to attendees regarding convention, schedule, venue, host city, area restaurants and attractions, upcoming conventions.

Exhibit Booth Host/Hostess

GEH exhibit hosts can answer questions regarding your product at exhibit booth or assist in product demonstrations. They also take tickets, act as extension of vendor to increase attendee product knowledge, and help increase sales.

Bagger/Material Assembly

GEH staff efficiently assemble materials into bags to be passed out at registration or during convention.


GEH clerks exchange information with visitors, work registration desk, information desk, door scanner, and line monitor.

Self-Registration Assistant

GEH will assist attendees who are self-registering on self-serve computer stations.

Line Monitors, Greeters, Directionals (can overlap)

Is this the right line? Where’s the Acme booth? GEH line monitors, greeters, and directionals are just what you need to help process and guide guests at your event. We stand in designated areas to ensure attendees are in correct lines. Staff also will make frequent announcements to remind or alert attendees where they should be standing, greet attendees in hallways or at assigned locations to answer questions and provide directions, and direct attendees or lead them from one place to another.

Room Monitors

GEH room monitors ensure that logistics of room are just as required. Whether it’s ensuring the A/V system is properly setup and tested or ensuring the lighting is just right for your PowerPoint presentation, we’ve got you covered. Monitors liaise for moderator or speaker and discuss any special needs or concerns, count attendees, take tickets for entry/scan or check badges, distribute/collect surveys or other materials, assist with microphone for attendees during Q&A, ensure session starts and ends on time, give visual cues to speakers near end of session for wrap-up (5 minute warning), check that paper/markers on flip chart and pens/paper on tables, monitor water stations/supplies, monitor door once session is underway, and report any issues in room to conference team.


Cashiers complete cash or credit card transactions for registration, seminars, or exhibits.

VIP/Speaker/Press Support

GEH professional staff will escort and coordinate VIPs/speakers/press, maintain your itinerary, and be your liaison for the event.

Name Badges

Let us distribute badges and verify credentials and check badges or IDs at entrance to trade shows, exhibits, or registered seminars.

Staffing Guidelines

  • One Lead for every 200 guests
  • Buffet dinner: One Server per 30 guests
  • Plated dinner: One Server per 20 guests
  • One Bartender per 100 guests
  • One Busser per 50 guests (for plated dinners)
  • One Scullery for up to 150 guests
  • One Food Runner per 30 guests
